Bonnie Catherine Hopkins, age 91 of Russellville passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born January 3, 1931 in Center Valley, Arkansas to the late James Reason Jones and Lonnie Belle Warren Jones. She loved traveling, reading, her own home cooking, gardening, going junking, Sunday drives and being around her family. She also loved all of her church family at the Delaware First Baptist Church. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elton Othell Hopkins Sr.; son, Elton Othell Hopkins Jr.; daughter, Vicky (Susie) Nye and twelve siblings, Opal Mae (Lester) Hollowell, Laverne (Roy) Verden, Lee Jones, D.J. Jones, C.L. (Pauline) Jones, Wolf (Lizzie) Jones, Reba (Weldon) Vaughn, Bill Jones, Benjamin Jones, Fuzz Jones, Carroll (Wanda) Jones, Cliff (Helen) Jones and one great grandchild, Blake Beaty.

Survivors include her treasured companion of 34 years, Carl Standridge; one son, Mike (Lisa) Hopkins of Dardanelle; daughter-in-law, Teresa Hopkins of Danville; son-in-law, Vern Nye of Dardanelle; grandchildren, Shannon (Sara), Melisa (Chad), Heather (Todd), Patty (Will), Michael (Sommer), Carly, Jesse; great grandchildren, Meghan (Sam), Sophie, Jessyka, Kayla, Kindrick, Will, Katie, Savannah, Zane, Faith, Isaac, Elijah, Bailey, Ezrah, Payton, Wyatt; she was looking forward to meeting her first great great grandchild, Ezra, and in her words, "I love my nieces and nephews, the ones I know and even the ones I've never met."

Funeral service will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Delaware First Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Smith officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Petillo Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and her son-in-law.
