Bonnie McCorkle

Bonnie Louell McCorkle age 74 of Knoxville went home to the Lord on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith surrounded by her family. She was born October 2, 1941 at London to the late Luther Howard and Iva Mae Hall Ussery. She was a Christian and of the Assembly of God faith. She loved fishing, traveling, going to the casino, volunteering for the Red Cross, gardening, playing the piano and taking care of her dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Duke, Howard and Floyd Ussery.

Survivors include her daughters, Pamella Gail Simmons (Mark) of Centerville, Renee Lemmon (Justin) of Russellville, Michelle Meredith (Donnie) of Dardanelle, Kelly Detrick (Tommy) of Centerville, Crystal Burns (Jason) of Cave City and two stepdaughters; her soulmate, Tony Faust of Knoxville; Godmother to Twila Kelley; ten grandchildren, Josh Grinder, Jesse Grinder, Casey Long, Whitney Coffman (Josh), James Young Jr. (Courtney), Carson Meredith, Nicole Ford, Kaela Norrid (Koda) Jeffery Metcalf, Alex Metcalf and eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Cornwell Chapel I Dardanelle. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
