Brenda Gayle Rice Chambers age 56 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away September 29, 2014. She was born August 11, 1958 to the late Opal H & Chloe Evelyn Wheeler Rice. She was a Medical Transcriber and a 1976 Danville High School Graduate. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Alvin and Jimmy Rice; sister Doris Rice. Survivors include her husband of 37 years Keith Chambers; son, Jason Chambers of Memphis TN; daughter, Alisha & Sean Witt of Collierville, TN; grandchildren, Hunter, Sidney & Alaina; brothers Opal Rice of Dardanelle; Kenneth Rice of Ft. Myers, FL; Clayton Rice of Dardanelle; Charles Rice of Danville; mother-in-law Irene Chambers of Havana; and several nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Hunt's Chapel Church with Bro. Mark Lane officiating. Burial will be at Hunt's Chapel Cemetery in Rover.
