Byron Lee Lampkin age 61 of Bluffton passed away Monday, June 12, 2023.

He was born August 31, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to Hoyt Lee & Deloris Mos Lampkin. Byron was a truck driver, farmer, musician, and cowboy. He wore many hats.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Lampkin; step-mother, Betty Lampkin.

Survivors include his father, Hoyt Lampkin of Bluffton; mother, Deloris Pence of Danville; daughters, Alexandra & Brad Nuckols of Bluffton; Ashton & Clay Damon of Ola; sister, Lisa & Phillip Shelby of Fayetteville; mother of his girls, Laura Lampkin of Danville; grandchildren, Caley Nuckols and Tatem Damon; and a host of family and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:00 am Friday, June 16, 2023 at Bluffton Cemetery with Eric Wilkins officiating.

Pallbearers include Shane Vestal, Dale Catlett, Russell Nuckols, Jerry Carter, William Damon and Larry James.
