Calvin "Clinton" Brixey went to be with his heavenly Father on February 4, 2024. He was born on May 13, 1944, at White Eagle Township, Casa, AR, to the late Roscar Brixey and Mabry "Pud" (Cody) Brixey. Clinton was preceded in death by Granddaughter Avery Mae Brixey.

Clinton is survived by his wife, Betty (Harris) Brixey, and two sons Keith Brixey and Darin Brixey of Casa; also surviving, granddaughters Isabella Brixey, Patience Brixey, and one grandson Jake Brixey-all of Casa. He is survived by two step-granddaughters Amber and Cailey Stover, one step-great grandson, Hagen Smith, and a host of family and friends.

Clinton is a member of Casa First Baptist Church where he led singing and helped teach the Adult Sunday School class before his health wouldn't allow him to do so.

Clinton served his country six years in the Perryville National Guard. Clinton was a Casa City Alderman for many years. Clinton retired from Pinecrest Lumber after 33 years. Clinton believed in service to God, Country, Community, and family. Clinton loved playing the banjo at the Ola Superette with the Backporch Band. Clinton loved to make people laugh. He lived a happy and content life.

A celebration of his life will be at the Casa First Baptist Church, Casa, on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to service. Pastor Ethan Robinson will conduct the service and the pallbearers are Steve Harwell, John D. Thompson, Randy Brixey, Michael Curtis, Tommy Chistmas, and Joey Curtis. Cornwell Funeral Home will do the interment at Casa Cemetery immediately after the Celebration of Life.
