Carl Hales (J.R.) age 73 of Rover died Sunday, January 22, 2017 at his home. He was born September 1, 1943 at Webber Falls, Oklahoma to the late Billy Burlin and Mabel Graggs Hales. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters and four grandchildren, Dalton Kemp, Brooklyn Page Johnson, Matthew David Hales and Lee Allan Hullett.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Patsy Hales of Rover; his children, Jarvis Dale (Melissa) of Rover, Latonya (Charles) of Tyler, Texas, Donald (Dea Rae) of Plainview, Billy Ray (Angie) of Plainview, Ladonna (Jason) of Plainview; one sister, Anita Powell; seven brothers, Billy Utah Hales, Buck Hales, Tim Hales, Clifford Hales, Brazle Hales, Marty Wayne Hales and Texas Mack Hales; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in New bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the chapel.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Kelsy, Dale, Brandon, Megan, Austin, Cody, Tyler, Garrett, Laken, Destiny and Camron.

Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers.
