Obituary

CSM Carl L Waters (retired) went home to be with the lord  and his fellow fallen paratroopers Tuesday March 21st  2023. Born November the 4th 1951 in rural Center Ridge, Arkansas to the late Norvin Waters and Annis Bryant-Waters. He was also preceded in death by his brother Dan Waters and granddaughter Victoria Waters.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Waters and sons Scott Waters (Donna) of Fayetteville, NC, Carl Waters Jr (Christy) of Roland, AR and Nick Waters of the home. Surviving siblings are sisters Annie Ruth Price, Norma Dean Bradshaw, Patsy Jo Howard and brother Ben Waters. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, one uncle, many nieces and nephews and countless great grandchildren and numerous friends and comrades around the world.

Carl was an honorable man that loved helping others and was largely involved in the veteran's community locally and abroad. He touched many many lives. He loved to work in his garden and orchard, make his award winning wine and travel on his Harley living life to the fullest. He worked hard and played even harder. You will be sorely missed Sergeant Major.  AATW  HUA!

Memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Forte Reach Church, 1627 AR 95, Hattieville, Arkansas 72110.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cornwell Funeral Home 207 Quay Street, Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834 to offset unreal expenses.
