Carla Jane Thompson age 69 of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at her home. She was born November 10, 1955 in Hobbs, New Mexico to the late Floy Milton (Mike) Thompson and Elsie Lillian Wilson. Carla graduated from Waldron High School and then lived the majority of her life in Russellville.

Carla was preceded in death by her father, Mike Thompson; her mother, Elsie Thompson; her younger sister, Charla Johnson and her close personal friend Joe Long.

Although Carla never married or had children, she cared deeply for all the furry four-legged 'kids' she enjoyed during her lifetime and she was never without a "favorite" niece or nephew at any time.

Survivors include two sisters, Carroll McKinney of Russellville; Colleen Black of Russellville; many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and her close friend Mary Jo Mann of Placerville, California.

Carla will be remembered as a loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
