Carol Via Carol Lorin Via age 72 of Centerville died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his home. He was born December 12, 1940 at Birta to Noel and Jewell McIntosh Via. He was a retired Staff Sergeant from the U.S. Army, he loved to hunt, fish and loved spending time with family especially his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Ronnie Via. Survivors include his mother, Jewell Johnson of Ola; his wife, Alice Ann Via of Centerville; stepson, Paul Ray Ellenburg of Grady; stepdaughter, Ann Marie Redden of Pottsville; adopted son, Phillip Michael Metcalf of Mt. George; two brothers, Donnie Via of Ola, Robert Via of Ozark; sister, Noelene Barnett of Dardanelle; six grandchildren, Destiny, Faithlynn, Lexie, Patrick, Aria, Shooter and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Birta Cemetery with Rev. Tim Via officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the funeral home.
