Carolyn Sue Meredith, 70 of Gravelly, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville. She was born December 18, 1942 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Harold and Velma Morgan Cole. She was a registered nurse, member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Wing. She loved to sing in the band at church, and loved to fish. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, John Meredith of Gravelly; four children, Rebecca and husband Kenny Solheim of California, James and wife Tammy Meredith of Ola, Lorena and Devin Carter of California, and David Meredith of California; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held later at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Wing. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville and River Valley Cremeations.
