Carolyn Lynette Smith age 70 of Ola passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at UAMS in Little Rock.

Carolyn was born May 8, 1954 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Raymond & Aileen Dobbs Vaughn. She was a member of the Ola Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; son, Jeremy Smith; daughter, Lesa Ruiz; siblings, Juanita Alvey and Thurman Spears.

She is survived by her husband, William Smith; daughter, Lela Rogers; siblings, Donald & Jackie Vaughn; Mary Fowler; Diane & Gary Nelms; Wanda & Dave Conners; Loretta Solochenko; sister-in-law, Brenda Spears; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Jeannie & Billy Haralson; grandchildren, Miley, Damion, Alea, Chiara, Carlie, Max; great-grandchildren, Paris, Bethany, Colt, Alexander; several nephews, nieces, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Ola Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. John David Keeling and Rev. Joel Smith officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday June 7, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery,

Pallbearers include Kendall Phipps, William Phipps, Randy Crawford, Billy Haralson, James Metcalf and Jason Henry.
