Carrol Wayne Myers, “Wayne” age 77 of Dardanelle passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at his home. He was born May 27, 1949 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Faye Ralph Myers and Mary Kathleen Burris. He was the founder and owner/operator of Wayne’s Wrecker Service, still in business after 40 years. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gerald Faye Myers and James Rex Myers.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Sue Myers; two sons, David Wayne and Marlena Myers, Robert and Jennie Myers; sister, Mary Lee Patton (Joe), Sister-in-laws, Mary Ellen Myers, Jannie Morris; brother-in-law, Denny Hale (Becky); grandchildren, Justin and Rachael Myers, Shaelyn and Micah Keller, Kristen Myers (Zach Gray), Madilyn Myers; great grandchildren, Athena, Jameson, Rowan Myers; his constant companion, Peanut and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 10, 2026, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2:00P.M. at the chapel with Bro. Jim Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Old Baptist Cemetery in Gumlog, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be David Boatwright, Lee Bratton, Dillion Thomason, Charlie Thomason, Jason Burris, Jeff Brown, Shawn Boxnick and Justin Myers.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David Myers, Robert Myers and Gary McGee.
