Carroll LaDon Rose age 74 of Ola passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 at his home.

Carroll was born November 11, 1948 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Edward Faye & Rachel Elizabeth Noblett Rose. He was a proud Army Veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam. He served as a paratrooper in the 101 ^st Airborne, 2 ^nd Battalion of the brigade's 502 ^nd Infantry. He received an honorable discharge and was awarded the Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. Upon returning, he married the one true love of his life, Linda Minnie. He was a member of the Ola Church of Christ for many years. He was a host parent for many years to countless students through Harding University in Searcy. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Jimmy Rose, Brenda Treadwell and Danny Burfield.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Linda Rose; children, Rex & Sandra Rose of Ola; Edward & Amy Rose of Danville; Kerri Younger & Chris Womack of Bentonville; siblings, Charles & Leola Rose of Ola, Charlene & Dariel Rainey of Casa; Larry & Debbie Rose of Birta; Debbie Ann & David Holt of Centerville and Randy Burfield of Ola. Grandchildren, Tyler Rose, Matthew Rose, Alicia & Matt Whitman, Dylan Rose, Averi Womack, Carson Womack, Corbin Womack, Ethan and Shane Bentley, and Eli Truong; great grandchildren, Landon Carroll Rose and Clenna Dawn Whitman; and his best friends, Arlie Hanna and Jackie Harrison, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be10:00 am Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Ola Church of Christ with Mr. Ben Gray officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 a, before service at the church. Burial will be at Sandlin Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Arlie Hanna, Jackie Harrison, Jackie Carter, Tim Rainey, Gerald Minnie, Jackie Williams, Eddie Short, and Charlie Minnie.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.
