Catalina Chavez de Sanchez age 62 of Danville passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born November 25, 1949 in Poloros, La Union, El Salvador to Marcelino &Eusebia Mejia Chavez. She was Catholic and a line worker for Wayne Farms. She was preceded in death by her father Marcelino Chavez. Survivors include husband Alfonso Sanchez in El Salvador; mother Eusebia Mejia of El Salvador; daughter Silvia Sanchez of Danville; brothers Benjamin Chavez of Danville and Francisco Chavez of El Salvador; sisters Rosa Chavez of Danville; Bacilia Chavez of El Salvador; grandchildren Luis Leiva and Silva Leiva of Danville. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Father Francois Pellissier officiating. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery.
