Catherine Foster, 89, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born April 6, 1936 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Charlie and Jeannie Robberson Caviness.

Catherine was the heart of her family — a woman whose warmth, kindness, and unforgettable biscuits touched everyone she met. She never met a stranger, and over the years, her circle grew to include countless "honorary kids" who were drawn to her gentle spirit and open heart.

She is survived by her three sons, Johnny (Kathy), Allen (Kim), and Lyndell (Cindy); 12 grandchildren, Christi (Edward), Jaycee, Casey (Jordana), Chanda (Chris), Nicky (Nate), Jr. (Sarah), Ashtyn; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, John; her sons Jimmie, Joel, and Kenny; and daughter-in-law Marie.

Catherine retired from Tyson after many years of hard work, but her greatest joy came from time spent with her family. She loved Jesus with all her heart, and her days were filled with singing hymns, cooking, listening to bluegrass music, and sharing stories — she was truly the best storyteller around. Her kitchen was the gathering place, where everyone knew they'd be fed in body and soul.

Catherine leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M., at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle. Funeral service will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday at the Delaware Assembly of God Church with Gary Tuck officiating. Burial will be private in Graves Cemetery in Delaware.

Pallbearers will be Casey Foster, Lyndell Foster Jr., Chris Hawkins, Mikie Lievsay, Edward Hood and Jayden Hood.
