Cathern Harris Cathern Mollie Harris age 73 of Dardanelle died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at her home. She was born August 20, 1941 at Morrilton to the late Joseph Lesley and Goldie Eveley Anderson Smith. She was a Baptist, loved reading, growing plants, flowers and loved her dog Hunney. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Ricky Cates and Leroy Cates; four sisters, Peggy Deeds, Clara Gatewood, Barbara Main, Bitha Main; brothers, James Smith, Jonah Ray Snoddy, Bill Main, Jimmy Snoddy and Danny Snoddy. Survivors include seven children, Debra Standridge, Susan Potts, Beth Berry, Sandy McFee, Cathy Hickerson-LeDoux, Geri Lane, Melinda Robertson; six sisters, Lula Martin, Joe Vivian Seaman, Judy Kitton, Chris Davis, Syble Anderson, Linda Gunn; brothers, Joe Smith Jr., Martin George Smith, Clarence Smith, Bruce Smith, Johnny Snoddy and well over one hundred grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids. Graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Hughes Cemetery in Clinton. Visitation will be held Friday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
