Cathryn Deloris Cates, age 89 of Russellville, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born May 3, 1934 in Gumlog, Arkansas to the late Foster Duvall and Ruth Graves. She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ and she loved sewing, cooking and housekeeping. Cathryn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Clinton Cates; two sisters, Nell Duvall, Ruby Jean Virden and three brothers, Carl Duvall, Carroll Lawrence Duvall and Danny Duvall.

Survivors include her three children, Paul Cates, June Gray, Darrell Cates; one sister, Jackie Kimbrell; one brother, David Duvall; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the West Side Church of Christ in Russellville with Bro. Dan Lightfoot officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be private in New Hope Cemetery in Dardanelle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pope County Senior Activity Center, Meals on Wheels, 1010 North Rochester Avenue, Russellville, Arkansas 72802.
