Cecil Applegate

Cecil Henry Applegate age 78 of Atkins died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Ozark. He was born January 21, 1938 at Gore, Oklahoma to the late Cecil and Geneva Ruth Simmons Applegate. He was a United States Navy Veteran and loved collecting guns and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cheryl Bedgood and one brother, James W. Applegate.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Margaret Applegate of Atkins; one daughter, Sheila Adams of Atkins; one brother, Fred Applegate (Ruth) of Missouri; one sister, Brenda Tart of Jonesboro; one grandson, Beau Bedgood of Russellville and one great grandson, Hunter Bedgood of Russellville.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Gary Anderson officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Dardanelle.
