Sam Cone

Charlene Kay "Sam" Cone age 73 of London passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born May 13, 1945 at Danville, Illinois to the late Charles and Janet Conway. Sam was a proud member of the Patriot Guard Riders. Due to her Rheumatoid Arthritis, she mostly worked in the background to assist and support the missions, Ride captains and State Captains. She spent many hours assembling flags and poles for the PGR. It was not an uncommon sight to find her with a flag in her lap in the recliner or at the table, as she readied it for "highway speeds" so it wouldn't fray.

Survivors include her husband, David Cone of London, three daughters, Irish K. Blanchard of London, Jerry Lynn "JJ' Blanchard of New York, Tabatha Ann Jones and husband Pete of Clarksville and one grandchild, Wyatt Garrett Jones of Clarksville.
