Obituary

Charles Dickson age 81 of Hollis passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Yell County Nursing Home.

He was born May 25, 1930 in Steve, Arkansas to the late James Walker & Beadie Rachel Tiller Dickson. He was an Korean Army Veteran, member of the Pentecostal Church and Mason. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Ervin Dickson.

Survivors include sons, Tim Dickson of Waldron; Nick Dickson of Little Rock; daughter & son-in-law, Cindy & Tony Rankin of Chickalah; brothers James Dickson of Hollis; Robert Dickson of Watson, AR; Raymond Dickson of Jessieville; sisters, Wilmer Pardon of Fayetteville, TN; Lillian Millard of Hot Springs; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Hawks Cemetery in Hollis with Bro. Larry McNeely officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Danville Cornwell Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Mark Dickson, Rickey Dickson, Sean Johnson, Jacob Swaim, Keith Snider and James Smith.
