Obituary

Charles Edward (Eddy) Gagne escaped his mortal bonds on January 21, 2024. He was 63 years old. Eddy was born to Ilene (Stephens) Gagne and Jack Gagne on November 10, 1960. He grew up in Aly, Arkansas and was a student at Fourche Valley School. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ilene and Jack, a young brother, Alan Dale Gagne, and a son Giovanni (Gio) Gurrieri. He leaves behind an adoring family who will always feel the immense void that his absence will leave in their lives and their hearts; as well as a community who will miss his light.

He is survived by his brother, Jacky Gagne (wife Janey), his daughter Jessica "Jec" Gagne (husband Dane), and a son Brad Gagne (wife Paula). Eddy was an adoring brother and father. He often spoke of his children being the one great legacy he would leave behind. He is also survived by his children Jake Treadwell (wife Ashli), Colton Treadwell (wife Keleigh) and Tiffany Brennan (husband Terrance). They may not have shared his blood but Eddy was a father to them in every example of the word. He was twice the daddy that he didn't have to be. He was also blessed with several amazing grandchildren, Nick, Zack, Josh, Dylan, Madalynn "Maddie",

Charlie, and Aimslee who will continue to add to his family legacy. Eddy often said that being a PePaw was like being a daddy but without all the rules.

Eddy is survived by his former wives, Lisa Gagne and Laurie (Gagne) Vieira.

Although time can sometimes change lives, Eddy maintained lasting relationships with both and this was a testament to the man that he was.

Eddy was unique in so many ways. He was sometimes stubborn and outspoken but also had a heart as big as the nighttime sky. He loved working with his hands and creating things out of nothing. He also enjoyed fixing things. He loved a good challenge and was ready and able to tackle almost any task. He was a community handyman that the community appreciated and respected. Eddy loved fishing and spending time outdoors. He would often say that a bad day of fishing was better than a good day of almost anything else. He loved cheesy horror and science fiction movies and the lower the budget, the more he seemed to like it. He never saw a "B" (or C) movie that he didn't like. Eddy had a heart for helping people; often stopping on the road to help a stranded motorist or showing up in the dead of night to help with a broken pipe or heater. Yes, he enjoyed fixing things but he also liked the feeling of helping people. He believed that this too, would be a legacy he would leave behind. So today, we must bid farewell to a brother, father, grandfather and friend. Fly high, Eddy. We hope that the fishing is great and the bait is endless
