Charles F. " Charlie" Freeze age 79 of Ola passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Fort Roots V.A. Hospital in North Little Rock. He was born February 22, 1933 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Clarence O. and Ellen Greene Freeze. He was a Korean Army Purple Heart Veteran, a member of V.F.W. and Eagles in Springfield Ohio, and a member of the Ola First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 39 years Bobbie Freeze; brothers Richard Freeze of Kentucky and Russell Freeze of Ohio; sister Mary Ellen Freeze of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012 at the Ola First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Sandlin Cemetery in Ola. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Shawn Baskin, Jeff Baskin, Chris Baskin, Blake Baskin, Ronnie Barnes and J.R. Haney. Honorary Pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class.
