It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Charles William Medlock from Russellville, Arkansas, who passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 91. He was born on August 13, 1933 in Centerville, Arkansas. He was a proud USAF Veteran, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and kind friend.

Charles graduated from Morrilton High School in Morrilton, Arkansas in 1952 and enlisted in Air Force. He retired from the Air Force for 22 years of service as a Vietnam Veteran where he received many prestigious awards during his military career for his outstanding achievements. He loved all things football and watching sports. He highly enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors, home care and spending time with family.

He was married to his first wife, Shirley Medlock for 62 years when she passed away. He is survived by his second wife, Lana Medlock; his adult children, Brad Medlock, Mischelle Sanders-Gottsch, Leah Medlock, David Medlock; stepchildren, Mayor Fred Teague and Beverly Teague; grandchildren, Jason Medlock, Bruce Medlock, Austin Medlock, Laura Medlock, Christopher Gray, Ben Gray, Tawny Saunders, Carter Medlock, Logan Medlock, Taylor Medlock and step grandchildren, Victoria, and Caleb.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved family and all who knew him.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 19, 2025, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle.

Memorial services will be held 1:00P.M., Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Journey Church in Russellville.
