After a short illness, Charles Norris received his perfect healing on March 23, 2023. He was born June 6, 1934 in Rover, Arkansas to William Levi and Ida Floe Crites Norris and attended school in Plainview. He was a long-time employee of Tyson Industries, retiring in 1996 as their warehouse manager. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William and Maxie Norris and two sisters, Johnnie McElroy and Louise Rich.

Charles served his country through the Arkansas National Guard and United States Army Reserves, and served the community as a Webelo leader and as a member of the Dardanelle City Fire Department for over 20 years. He served the Lord as a member of the Gum Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He received great satisfaction by raising a large, varied garden.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Louella McGuire Norris; four children, Rebecca Hopkins (Jacky), Paula Phifer (B.J.), Paul Norris (Coralyne), Suzanne Easley (Randall); eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and three brothers, Claudie, James and Johnny Norris (Marie).

Memorial services will be held at 10:00A.M., Monday, April 3, 2023 at the Dardanelle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with Bro. Jeff Thompson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dardanelle Senior Activity Center for Meals on Wheels, 701 North 5 ^th Street, Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834 and/or Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center Activity Fund, P.O. Box 636, Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834.
