Charles James Poynter age 55 of Hector passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, Arkansas. He was born April 1, 1965 in Russellville, Arkansas to Granvil Poynter Sr. and Mabel Morris-Rhodes. He was proceeded in death by his father, Granvil Poynter Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Mabel Morris-Rhodes; stepfather, Vernon Rhodes; two daughters Jessica Poynter-Bostian (Trey) of Morrilton, Arkansas and Cassidy Palacio (Juan) of Chandler, Texas; one brother; Granvil Poynter Jr. (Slyvia) and two granddaughters; Autumn Crow and Hailee Crow.
