Obituary

Charles Henry Taylor, 79 of Gumlog Community Russellville, Arkansas, passed Saturday morning March 15, 2025 at 10:30am in his home with some of his loved ones near. He finally got what he's wanted for a while, which was to go see his momma and daddy, as he missed them very much.

Charles served seven years in the Army National Guard. He was a mechanic as far as many could remember, you could always find him working on something. If he was not working on something, he was grilling, he has always made the best brisket. He loved spending his time fishing and hunting, and oh did he have stories about that! Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Charles had a long and eventful life, he had many stories and we loved listening to them. Many hours were spent doing so.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Taylor. His mother is Gladys Coffman Taylor. His baby girl, taken far to soon, Anna Marie Taylor. Brother Carl (Sonny) Taylor, sister, Bea Roberts and Arlice Roberts (brother-in-law).

He is survived by his wife Thereasa Taylor, of 26 years. Their sons, Joshua Taylor (fiancé-Sabre Andrews) and Blake Taylor. His children from his late wife, Wilma Dornan, son Johnny Taylor. Daughters Lisa Kelly (husband-Larry Kelly) Melinda Taylor, Tina Lee, Joanie Taylor. His wonderful siblings: sister Linda Adair, brother Thom Taylor (wife-Wilma Joy), sister Virginia Taylor, sister Becky Baker, and brother Rick Taylor. Grandchildren: Kena Alford, Shane Alford, Melissa (Tissy) Manning, Kyle Taylor (wife-Jennifer Taylor), Dustin Hunt, Austin Taylor, Tiffany Cowan, Katie Cowan, Anna Voss (husband-Josh Voss), April Sanders, and Abby Wages. Great grandchildren: Trinity McCutchen, Gretchen Taylor, Avery Taylor, Emma Taylor, Bentley Hunt, Cash Ivey, Faith Voss, Leo Allerd, along with many nieces and nephews.

In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you forever hold a place that no one else will ever fill.
