Obituary

Charlie "Waymon" Sherrell age 92 of Belleville passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at St. Vincent in Little Rock. Waymon was born October 16, 1922 in Midway, Arkansas to the late Clifford & Happy Robinson Sherrell. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a cattle farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leroy Sherrell; and sister, Juanita Turner. Survivors include his wife Lela Bell Knight Sherrell; sister & brother-in-law, Ruth & S.E. Miller of Marble Falls, Texas; brother & sister-in-law, Bobby & Viva Sherrell of Mesquite, TX.; brother-n-law, Sam Turner of Midway; and several nephews & nieces. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery with Rev. Earl Stapleton officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Eddie Knight, Matt Knight, Fred Knight, Clifford Turner, Jeff Turner, Gary Miller, Randy Miller and Melvin Cauthren. Arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home Danville
