Cilestene Jay

Cilestene Rosa Jay age 77 of Dardanelle died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born November 12, 1938 at Dardanelle to the late Ovid and Edna Haney Chambers. She was a member of the Delaware Assembly of God Church, was the owner of CJ Tax Service in Dardanelle and she loved cooking, traveling, arts and crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rev. David Jay; one daughter, Raquel Jay MacMaken.

Survivors include one son, David Farrell and wife Bronita of Dibble, Oklahoma; three sisters-in-law, Minta Winner of Russellville, Nancy Jay of Delaware, Jeannette Jay of Russellville, brother, Milbern Jay and wife Retha of California; six grandchildren, Heather Cook, Nicole Boese, Stacey McMaken, Caleb Jay, Kristyn Johnston, Kailyn Givens and twenty one great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at10:00A.M., Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Delaware Assembly of God Church with Rev. Bob Freeman and Rev. Charles Kendrick officiating. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery in Delaware. Visitation will be held Sunday, 2:00P.M. to 4:00P.M. at the chapel in Dardanelle.
