Cindy Shelton age 56 of Atkins died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born April 16, 1960 at Russellville to the late Robert J. and Willie Earnestine Fisher Barefield. She attended the Pine Ridge Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mickal Shelton and one nephew, Anthony Barefield.

Survivors include her children, Eric Shelton and wife Jessica of Atkins, Erin Shelton and Wesley Rhoads of Mulberry, Kimberly Qualls and husband Dustin of Russellville, Kelly Treas and husband Ryan of Hector; two brothers, Jimmy Barefield and wife Sylvia, Mickey Barefield and wife Carolyn, Sherry Johns and husband Bruce, Sheila Beville and husband Jim; eleven grandchildren and her two dogs that she loved dearly, Junior Jay and Alphie.

A family conducted memorial service will be held at a later date.
