C.L. Dawson age 86 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, June 17, 2015 the VA Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born October 24, 1928 at Carden Bottoms to the late Claude and Faye Dawson. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dardanelle and was a United States Army Veteran. He was a truck driver for most of his life and loved working on small engines. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Geraldine Dawson; one infant brother and two sisters. Survivors include three children, Steve Dawson of California, Mike Dawson and wife Leslie of South Carolina, David Dawson and wife Angela of Dardanelle; four grandchildren, Erin Jones of California, Kelly Dawson of Oregon, Kyle Dawson of South Carolina, Morgan Johnston of Mississippi. Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle with Bro. Jim Benfer officiating and Military Honors by Fort Sill.
