Clara Meriweather Clara Fay Meriweather age 56 of Plainview died Sunday, February 5, 2012. She was born March 14, 1955 at Mena to Lonzo and Eva Wagner Dickens. She was a devoted home maker, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a Christian and she loved going to church. Her lifelong addiction besides her family was yard saling and Days of Our Lives. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lee Ann Meriweather; one nephew, Mike Dickens, and was called into Heaven with her two grandsons, Jesse and Robert Meriweather. Survivors include her husband, Robert Meriweather of Plainview; one son, Jim Bob Meriweather of Plainview; one brother, Lonnie Ray Dickens of Centerville; one sister, Clara Sue Robinson and husband Larry of Casa; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00P.M., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Mike Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel in Dardanelle. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
