Clarence Albert Rightnour age 96 of Danville passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Mitchell’s Nursing Home.

Clarence was born June 1, 1930 in Monet, Arkansas to the late Raymond John & Maggie McAfee Rightnour. He was an Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Mary Alice, Lucille, Beulah and Earl; first wife, Ruth, second wife Shirley; daughter, Pamela; grandson, Jeremy; granddaughter, Chrisrtina; great-grandson, Jake.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Rightnour; children, Randy (Cheryl) Rightnour, Dana (Mabel) Rightnour, Rodney Rightnour, Garry (Maria) Rightnour, and Brenda (Allen) Thomas; 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 31, 2026 at the New Life Outreach Church with Rev. W.A. Gorman officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm Friday July 31 at Cornwell Funeral Home, Burial will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
