Clay Crews

Clay Collin Crews, 57 of Dardanelle, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock. He was born December 20, 1958 in Omaha, Nebraska to James and Claribel Carlson Crews. He was a line worker for Wayne Farms. Clay was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Crews; and his lifelong companion, Sheryle Schreck.

Survivors include his son, Adam Whitaker of Ashland, Nebraska; three brothers, Craig Crews, Curt Crews, and Chris Crews all of Omaha, Nebraska; two sisters, Nancy Anderson of Omaha, Nebraska, Sally Hunter of Colorado Springs, Colorado; mother-in-law, Linda Sherrill of Dardanelle; four grandchildren, Alec, Karma, Alayzha, and Kaylee Whitaker of Ashland, Nebraska.

The family will hold a private memorial service on Sunday, January 10th.

Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville and River Valley Cremations of Dardanelle.
