Clem Zebitty Essinger, age 90 of Dardanelle, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Dardanelle Regional Medical Center. He was born October 27, 1933 in El Paso, Arkansas to the late Steven Eugene Essinger and Ethyl E. Brown Essinger. He loved gardening, fishing, loved to play Senior Citizens Bean Bag and going to Gospel Meetings. Clem was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Ruby Phyllis Nestlerode Essinger; son, Bobby Joe Essinger; daughter, Jackie G.; his sisters and brothers; and mother-in-law, Ann Bates.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Essinger; son, David Essinger; Carol and Jim Fly, Tony and Jennifer Markham, Mark Markham; stepson, Michael Hawks; grandchildren, Jenifer Nutt, Jonathon Fly, Heather, Willie Markham; great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, August 9, 2024 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle with David Riley officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel. Burial will be in Owens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Paul McKinney, Donald Hurst, Tony Sigle and Billy McLand.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Harrelson, Kenneth Taaylor, Burl McAnulty and the Staff of Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Centerville Church of Christ or Camp Caudle or Food on the Mount and Mt. George.
