Bishop Clifford Davis age 76 of Belleville passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at his home. He was born October 30, 1938 in Paris, Arkansas to the late Ellis & Verna Lee Wise Davis. He was retired from Firestone and he was a minister. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Wise and Bobby Lewis; daughter, Verna Kay Davis; grandchildren, Emmastine Davis, Thomas Williams Davis, Breona Davis, Bryan Bailey. Survivors include his wife, Emma Vie Davis, sons & daughters-in-law, Ronnie & Rose Mary Davis of Danville; Charles & Jackie Davis of Belleville; Raymond & Patricia Davis of Belleville; Clifford & Dani Davis of Russellville; Chris & Lisa Davis of Belleville; Keeton & Shelly Davis of Dardanelle; grandchildren, Eugenia, Jamie, Chrystal, David, Lucretia, Akoshua, Patrice, Ryan, Cleeshalia, Dacara, C.J., Trentin, Tanner and Payden; nineteen, great-grandchildren; brother, Wep Webster of Dardanelle; his closet friend, Rev. Jim Henderson. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 7, at the WYC Church of Christ with Reverend Lenard Dell Wise officiating. Burial will be at Guinn Cemetery.
