Clifton "Cliff" David McClain age 56 of Briggsville September 12, 2014, he died suddenly but peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born May 20 1958 in Shreveport, LA to the late A. L. & Mary Lois Blackwelder McClain. He was a Navy Veteran and a air compressor mechanic. Throughout his 14 year battle with chronic pain, he never lost his loving kindness. Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Stormy McCain; sister Judy McClain. Survivors include his wife, Sharon McClain; son, Shane McClain of Briggsville; mother-in-law, Frances Bobbie Loper of Briggsville; brothers Jimmy McClain of Indiana; Gary McClain of Stonewall, LA; Ronnie McClain of Shreveport, LA; sisters Cynthia McClain of Shreveport, LA; Gloria Gilliam of Lafayette, LA; and several beloved nephews & nieces.
