Clyde Gene Byrd age 83 of Dardanelle died Monday, October 22, 2018 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway. He was born February 5, 1935 at Connersville Indiana to the late Preston J. and Lavada Violet Rose Byrd. He loved to play golf and was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Rosa Joyner, Loretta Clark, Georgianna Wells, Carolyn Sue Hatcher; son-in-law, Gary Watterson and a stepson, Billy Sharp.

Survivors include his wife, Stella Byrd of Dardanelle; three children, Sherry and Robert Pfeiffer of Russellville, Jeanna Watterson of Indiana, Melinda and Kevin Henson of Dardanelle; a stepson, Larry and Michele Sharp of Virginia; two brothers, Donald and Lavon Byrd of California, Bill and Lorinda Byrd of Indiana; one sister, Betty and Roy Channel of Kansas; ten grandchildren, Holly Pfeiffer, Stacey Pfeiffer, Michelle Miller, Alicia Shera, Megan Duvall, Garrett Henson, Ada Gonzales, Austin Sharp, Conner Sharp, Harrison Sharp; seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Mark Auten officiating.
