Clynell Delois Fleming Clemons age 92 went to be with the Lord Jesus on September 5th 2024 at Legacy Heights Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center in Russellville, AR.

Besides being a homemaker, Nell and Doug had a farm on Hwy 27, operated a local Esso gas station in Danville.  She worked at Citgo Gas Company, Superior Federal Bank, and the Bank of Dardanelle all in Danville before retiring at the age of 80.

After retirement, she enjoyed her time working the garden, canning vegetables, spending time with her family and attending church.  She was a member of the Danville Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar (Bill) Fleming and Lona Jones Fleming of Havana.  Her husband, Doug Clemons of Danville, AR and her brother Adrian Fleming of Charleston, AR.

She was born on July 12, 1932.  She was married to Doug Clemons from Danville for 53 years.   Survivors include her daughter Mrs. Paulette & (Larry) Lane, daughter, Patsy Morris, and son, Steve Clemons & (Sherrie) Clemons.  Nell and Doug had five grandchildren – Mark Lane & (Stacey), Jennifer Gray & (Mike), Sherry Hayes, Sarah Kelly & (Stratton), and Whitney Hodges & (Jessie).  They had nine great grandchildren – Katelyn Holub, Alec Lane, Evan Lane, Eli Lane, Aaryn Gates, Derrick Gray, Jordan Hayes, Liam Kelly, and Allie Hodges and six great great-grandchildren – Rylan Lane, Carter Lane, Brynlee Lane, Aleah Lane, Bodie Lane, Aspen Gray, and with one more arriving in December.

Funeral service will be at Danville Freewill Baptist Church in Danville, AR, Monday, September 9th at 2:00 p.m.  Mark Lane will be officiating. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 at the church before the service.

Burial will be at Moore's Chapel at Havana, AR.

Pallbearers will be Alec Lane, Evan Lane, Eli Lane, Derrick Gray, Chase Holub, Rowdy Gates, Honorary Pallbearers Jordan Hayes, Liam Kelly, Ronnie Spears, and Scott Spears.
