Cora Sue Swaim, age 81, of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at St. Vincent North Hospital in Sherwood.

Cora was born December 16, 1940 in Aly, Arkansas to the late Marvin & Sallie Parker Stokes. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She was a Wal Mart people greeter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glynn Ray Swaim; son Gregory Ottis Swaim; sisters, Estelene Smith, Laverne McGill, and Ruby Stewart; brother, Bennie Stokes.

Survivors include her daughter, Glenda & Joseph Botwinick of Sherwood; Shelia Craft of Danville; step-son, Kenneth Ray & Myrna Swaim; grandchildren, James Potter & Ashley Cunningham; Jacob Botwinick; Bridgette Craft and Stephen Vaughn; Brandy Wells; Amanda O'Keane and Carol & Benjamin Small; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Marshall, and Noah Potter, Laith Vaughn, Bethany, Lyndsey and Natalie Wells; Luke and Haley O'Keane; Jalen and Jordan Small

Funeral service will be 12:00 pm Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville (1117 No. James St). Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday, January 30, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Aly Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Lee Yates, Robert Botwinick, H.C. "Jay" Martin, Clayton Potter, James Potter, and Ricky Smith.

Honorary pallbearers include, Clint Beggs, Clay Beggs, Davy Lambert, and Tyrone Morgan.
