Coy Rose

Coy Lee Rose 79 of Ola passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab.  He was born June 30, 1942 in Ola, Arkansas to the late Oscar and Orlene Burnett Rose.  He was owner operator of Coy Rose Trucking and a part time employee at Custom Wood Recycling.  Coy was a member of the Ola United Methodist Church, Arkansas Army National Guard, River Valley Antique Car Club, past member of the Ola School Board, Sandlin Cemetery Board and retired from the Ola Fire Department.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Brian Rose; one brother, Troy Rose and one sister, Tressie Holland.

Survivors include his wife, Leona Rose, three sons, Steve Rose (Karen), Ronnie Rose (Susan) and Richard Rose (Stephanie Bales); two stepchildren, Terry Gentry and William West (Barbara); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11:AM to 12:00PM Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle.
