Obituary

Craig Chapman of Belleville, Arkansas earned his heavenly wings Saturday, September 9, 2023 peacefully in his home. He was born in Casa Grande, Arizona on June 19, 1960 and raised in Buckeye, Arizona. Craig was a proud descendant of generational farmers. He was an alfalfa hay, cotton, and dairy farmer in Arizona. He was also the owner and operator of C & L trucking company where he hauled farming commodities until moving to Arkansas where he has been a poultry farmer for 26 years. Craig loved boating, racing, hot rod cars, helping others, and his family. He has also been a devoted husband, father, and grandfather for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lorie Chapman, daughters Carrie Gipson (Mark Holsomback) of Pottsville and Tina Chapman (Robin Williams) of Belleville, and seven grandchildren, Jordan Holsomback, Will Holsomback, Brayden Gipson, Tyler Gipson, Adam Gipson, Jordan James, and Jayda Jones; loving brother to Rick Chapman, Barbara Kearney, and Paula Blake of Danville along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Sarah Chapman of Danville and brother, Mark Chapman of Havana.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Trinity House of Prayer (2600 Hwy 10 E, Danville, AR).
