Obituary

Dale Alan Guyse, "Papaw", of Dover passed away on September 24, 2020, at Arkansas Hospice at the age of 61. Born to Temple and Pauline Guyse in 1959, Dale had a servant's heart and was a faithful member and deacon at Dover Freewill Baptist Church, where he attended with his high school sweetheart and wife of 42 years, Tina Hood Guyse. Dale enlisted in the Army at 17 and became an E7 Sergeant First Class before retiring from service. Dale eventually opened his own business, ESCI, with the help of his wife and children. Dale and Tina's children, daughter, Christina Burris (Travis) and son, Dustin Guyse (Stephanie), were his whole life, along with his grandchildren, Keagen, Stephen, Payten, Alysen, Stacia, Carson, Owen, and William. Dale was an endlessly positive force in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His cheerful and joyous personality has been and will continue to be an inspiration to his family and his friends. His life was a living example of the Bible verse, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you," Ephesians 4:32. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Temple and Pauline, and his brothers, Sonny, Larry, and Rufus Guyse. He is survived by his father-in-law and his mother-in-law, Bob and Terry Hood, his sisters, Brenda (Bruce) Burks, and Pam Fite, his children, Christina and Dustin, and his grandchildren, Keagen, Stephen, Payten, Alysen, Stacia, Carson, Owen, and William. A viewing will be held at the Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle on Friday, September 24, and attended by his family.
