Daniel Richard Campos aka Poppa Dan age 74 passed from this life on September 4th 2022. Dan was at his home in Danville Arkansas surrounded by family and loved ones.
Dan was a born October 8, 1947 in Langford California. Graduated high school in San Jose California. He went into the Army and served as a sergeant in 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. After his service he attended Nuclear Health and Physics School in Las Vegas Nevada. He worked to restore power outages for health physics for 18 years.
Dan retired from nuclear and started a business in Danville to be able to spend more time with family.  Dandee janitorial was a commercial and residential janitorial service serving Danville and the surrounding areas.  After 26 years he was most popular for his work on flooring.
Dan was a mason, and a member of the VFW.  He dedicated his life to Christ in 1993 in Knoxville, TN. He was a loving husband, Dad, grandpa, and friend.
Dan is proceeded in death by his parents Pete and Teresa Campos and sister Vicky Ledesma. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Deanna Bell Campos; 7 children, Karen and Tim Reeves of California. Shannon Campos of Pennsylvania.  Daniel and Steve Sorrentino of Russellville.  Yilda Campos of California, Jeff Black of Clarksville, Michele Turner and Terry of Ola, Steve and Marie Black of Booneville.  Fourteen grandchildren Ariel Comer, Paris Turner, Kleo, Gianni, and Emily Sorrentino. Jennifer and Tommy Buckner, Morgan and Harley Martin, Krista and Sam Fowler, Darren Turner, Jade Black, Kiersten and Jacob Embry, Colby and Amelia Black, Chase Black, Trey and Haley Black, and seventeen great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at Ascension Life Christian Fellowship in Danville Arkansas under the direction of Lynn Garner. It will be held On Friday September 9th 2022 at 2pm. All are welcome to attend. A dinner will be held for the family after the service.
