Obituary

Danny Ray Jeffcoat, age 63, of Havana, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 20th, 2024. He was born on June 24th to the late Jimmy Jeffcoat Sr. and Margaret Inman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Jeffcoat Jr.

He is survived by his children, Allen Jeffcoat of Fort Smith, Daniel Jeffcoat and his wife Cassie of Chester, Timothy Jeffcoat of Maumelle, Mariah Jeffcoat of Pottsville, and Dillan Jeffcoat and his wife Kaitlyn of Maumelle; his grandchildren Haydon, Cayshawn, Ally Jo, & Mackinsley of Chester & Gavin of Dardanelle; & siblings Tammy Chance and her husband Phillip of North Little Rock, Debbie McClendon of Hackett, & Michael Jeffcoat of Havana. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Our dad went by many names, Poppa D, Beetle Juice, Scooby Doo, Heaven Bound, and Peacemaker. He was an exceptional friend, brother, uncle, son, and father. Our dad lived his life to love others, he may have felt his mission field was on the road, driving a truck, but that was just an avenue for him to get to love on people. Word on the street is that he was the first person to have "never met a stranger". He loved fiercely and was incredibly passionate about his people. He loved watching his children play sports, from basketball, slow pitch softball, and all the other sports we could get into.  Our Dad loved everything about the outdoors, except getting his 4-wheeler dirty. He loved his "Arkansas Sweet Tea", lemon pepper seasoning, and watching me hit golf balls into any body of water. He cherished his time with his children and grandchildren. Danny was a storyteller, and if you didn't have time to listen, well too bad. Our dad craved getting to pour into people, I believe he believed his life's purpose was to brighten people's day. It's not hard to do that when you're close to the son. Danny passionately studied the Bible and could quote the word backwards and forwards, he often spoke about being filled with the spirit and not partaking in the carnal world we live in. One of his favorite places to visit with his family was Byrd's Adventure Center. We enjoyed many times camping and riding "side by sides" with him. He will be deeply missed. We weren't finished with our dad, as no one ever is. His legacy will last a lifetime, as he passed all those traits everyone loved about him down to his children. We will make sure we live our lives like our dad, Peacemaker, Scooby Doo, Beetle Juice, Poppa D, and Heaven Found. W.T.L.O.T.L.- #5
