Danny Michael "Heavy" Owens, age 64, of Havana passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville, AR. Danny was born on July 2, 1951 in Sapulpa, OK. to the late Ollie Thurman and Mary Evalee Crews Owens. He was a truck driver and worked for Custom Wood Recycling. He is survived by on sister Jerrie and Odean Parker; three daughters, Jennifer Mitchell; Brigette and Darrell Cobb; and Tara Godwin; six grandchildren, Bailey Mitchell and Cody Heflin, Mikey Mitchell and Zoe Thompson; Kelsie and Jerry Brown; Trent Cobb, Carson Keim and Cloe Keim; and one great-grandson, Trennan Brown; aunts, Billie Millred Crews Owens, Nina Owens Cherry, Selma Owens and one uncle, Jackie and Claudia Owens; best buddy and cousin, Perry Owens; numerous cousin and friends. Visitation will be held at the Havana Assembly of God Church Fellowship Hall at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 14th and burial will follow at the Havana Cemetery at 2:30 P.M.
