Danny Thompson

Danny Earl Thompson age 59 of Dardanelle died Sunday, September 3, 2017 at River Valley Medical Center. He was born June 16, 1958 at Russellville to the late James Edward Thompson Sr. and Josephine Mildred Jackson Thompson. He was a member of the Sweet Home Baptist Church, he loved fishing, hunting and was a member of the Arkansas National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Thompson Sr. and Josephine Mildred Jackson Thompson; one son, Corey Savage and one brother, James Edward Thompson Jr. and grandparents, Charles "Chock" Thompson, Ruth May Thompson.

Survivors include two brothers, Jerry Thompson of Russellville, Joe Allen Thompson of Dardanelle; three sisters, Donna Diggs of Dardanelle, Loretta Jean Smith of Russellville, Laura Ann Thompson of Fort Smith and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Unity Baptist Church in Dardanelle with Rev. Kenneth Kellybrew and Rev. Chuck Kellybrew officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the church prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Ray Watkins, William Kellybrew Jr., Ike Freeman, Charles Nichols Jr., O.J. Woods and Curtis Watkins

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerome L. Thompson, Jerry L. Thompson Jr., Buster Watkins, Leonard Thompson and Lewis Johnson.
