Darnell Thompson age 88 of Danville passed away Thursday, June 08, 2017 at Chambers Memorial Hospital.

He was born August 24, 1928 in Birta, Arkansas to the late James & Nellie Mae West Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ruth, Arthur, Nettie and Mary Rose.

Survivors include his children, James Thompson and Jerry Thompson; sister, Neoma Spencer of Booneville; great-niece & caregiver, Angela & Brian Hick; grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews who loved him dearly and his Mitchell's Nursing Home Family.

Memorial service will be 2 pm Monday, June 12, at the Dardanelle Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel.
