Darrell Francis a long time resident of Danville, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 24, 2020. He was 66. He was born September 1, 1953 to the late Hermit and Ruby (Walker) Francis. He grew up in the Chicago area. He was a die hard Cubs Fan and he worked for the Chicago Bridge and Iron and Glitz Field Services before moving to Arkansas. Darrell enjoyed many passions. He collected coins in his spare time. He spent many week-ends at Centerville Dragway racing his mustang and collecting countless wins and trophies throughout the years. All these were shared with his family and the many friendships created along the way. He loved spending time with his grandkids and his Boston Terriers "the girls". He loved Italian Food and 70's music. He was a "baseball coach, an inspiration, a never give in, go for what you want guy to all the kids lives he touched."

Darrell is survived by his wife, Barbara Francis of Danville; three children, Eric A. Francis and children Aleigh and Landon, Adam Francis and daughter Autumn, Anna Chandler (Robert) and children Olivia Brooke and Austin Carter; two sisters, Joyce McFarland (Bob) of Dover, TN, and Barbara Roache (Terry) of Oswego, IL and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Final resting place will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.
