Obituary

David Wayne Bishop age 64 of Delaware passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016. He was born October 21, 1952 to Charles and Jean Bishop. He graduated from Dover High School in 1972. He served in the Navy. David worked at several occupations. He was a welder, an insurance salesman, and he worked at nuclear plants and owned a landscaping business.

In his youth, he enjoyed playing sports and was a good football player. He was a lifelong fan of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. His favorite hobbies were fishing and hunting. He enjoyed family gatherings and loved everyone. He was a special person with good character, kind and willing to help anyone. He was a good, loving husband to his wife Deanna. He was loved by all who knew him. He will truly be missed and remembered by his family and friends.

David is preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Bishop and his grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife Deanna; his mother, Velma J. Bishop; two brothers, Charles Bishop Jr., Robert Bishop and his wife Kim Bishop; two sisters, Laura Bishop and Rebecca Featherston and her husband Jay Featherston; five nieces, Amanda Dale, Kaitlin Austin, Lisa Bishop, Kim Bishop, Kaitlyn Bishop; two nephews, Brian Featherston and Andy Featherston and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Delaware with Jeff Smith officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6:00PM. to 8:00P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Delaware.

Pallbearers will be Chad Floyd, Shawn Little, Jay Featherson, Craig Schriver, Bob Bishop and Charles Bishop.
