David Allen Dodge Sr. age 74 of Russellville, Arkansas died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born November 26, 1941 to Fred W. Dodge and Rose A. Dodge of Hartford, Connecticut. He moved to Russellville in 1971 from California. He soon became a plumber apprentice working to obtain a Master Plumber License which he did in 1979. He then started his own business here in Russellville as, Dave's Plumbing and Repair retiring in 2001. He was a member of Fair Park Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the American Legion. He served in the Army from 1960 to 1963 and is a Vietnam Veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred W. Dodge Sr.; his mother, Rose A Battige; his sister, Rebecca Dodge; a daughter, Robin Valdez and a stepson, Kevin L. Stites.

Survivors include his wife, Lora G. Dodge of Russellville; daughters, Lori Andrews of Chelsea, Mass., Anita K. Dodge of Russellville; sons, David A. Dodge Jr. of Conway, Danny A. Dodge of Belgrade, Utah; half sister, Judy Battige of South gate, California; one brother, Fred W. Dodge Jr. of Texas; one stepdaughter, Melinda Eubanks; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; that's a fact! More or less.
